The joined facilities will create two 18-mile-long express lanes that will vastly improve transit travel times, particularly because the stretch between Air Base Parkway and Leisure Town Road is not currently served by carpool lanes. Major features of the project include 20 bridge structures with six overcrossing replacements, two undercrossing replacements, seven undercrossing widenings, and five bridge widenings over channels. Our services include implementing and maintaining the project quality manual, materials control schedules, and inspecting and testing all elements of the work including materials validation for soil, aggregates, concrete, hot mix asphalt and steel. We're providing quality validation materials control, inspection, and testing. G3 Quality is an integral part of the Design-Build Quality Management Team Two express lanes will also be constructed east of Haven Avenue. West of Haven Avenue, a single new lane will be constructed and combined with the existing HOV lane to provide two express lanes in each direction. In addition, lanes to assist drivers in getting on and off the freeway (auxiliary lanes) will be constructed in selected locations. The project includes two tolled express lanes in each direction. The project will widen the existing I-10 freeway between the Los Angeles/San Bernardino County line and I-15, a distance of approximately 10 miles.
